I am an application developer, not a system developer. In the 1980's I wrote a applications for manufacturing companies on IBM mid-range computers. In the 1990's I wrote them in C/C++, running on DOS. In the early 2000's I wrote them in Lotus Notes and Java. Since 2009, I've written applications in PHP/Drupal.
